The Thermal Cooker and Container Cooking

I hope you like this updated article on successful container cooking.

I would love to hear from you: What do you think about the new layout, content, etc?

Much like cooking in a crock pot, meals prepared in the thermal cooker are prepared early and eaten later. By using containers, thermal cooker cooking becomes almost limitless.

Containers elevate the versatility of your thermal cooker. The thermal cooker can be used for much more than soup, stews or as a warmer.

Website

If you have not been to visit my website in a while you will find lots of changes:

  • Let's start with the most obvious change, it is a Totally New Site.

  • The CindysSense.com site is now gone and has been replaced with my new site: ThermalCooking.net. I hope you find this site much more user friendly.

Shipping:

  • To be honest, techie parts of business are not my forte. I struggle with doing the research required to figure out how to run my website correctly. I would much rather be playing with the thermal cooker in the kitchen then reading instructions for SEO on the computer.

But, to my rescue has come my husband, John. Thanks to him my shipping problems of the past, should be, and shall remain, in the past.

  • Shipping is now calculated based on your shipping address and which carrier you choose.

Class Schedule

My classes are always open to anyone who would like to attend. Some are held at businesses, in churches or in homes. There is always a current list at thermalcooking.net. If you would like to schedule a class for your group, please email me for information at letsmakesenseof@gmail.com.

Miller Family Update

Lots of NEWS going on at the Miller home!

The most exciting news. Taylor (my second son) and his wife Nikki, are welcoming a new little girl into our family. We are so excited to meet this beautiful angel in August!

The most inspirational news. Leesha is doing great on her LDS mission. She is in Greenville, NC and is loving every minute of it, she is forgetting herself and serving the people! In one of her last letters she said, "I honestly am having a blast, sometimes I think to Heavenly Father and try to fathom how blessed I am to be here and I just laugh. I am loving it here. I love you but I would not trade this learning experience, I think I am learning so much!" What greater words can a mom read from her daughter? I am so inspired by her.

The biggest news. We have moved, again. When we came back to South Jordan from Herriman, we knew that the plan was to move in with my parents. They have a big yard, house and it was obvious that help would be needed. We are in a possition to help. At that time, three years ago, it was not quite time. Late one evening the first part of January I recieved a call from my dad, it was time. He suffers from Lewy Body Dementia, he invited me up, and I have not left.

The most rewarding news. Obviously, John and Dalton came with me to live with my parents, we are all doing great. There are blessings to this type of service. As I mentioned to Dalton shortly after moving in, "it may be different living in your grandparents home, but it is not about what others think, it is about what you experience and how you can help. There will be things only you get to experience because you are here, they will be great blessings to you". He gets it, I love having hem around.

The funnest news. For Dalton, he moved into a neighborhood where his best friends already lived, he is happy. It has been a good year for him, as you can see from the above picture (he is #23), Dalton's Bingham basketball team won the 5A state championship.

The most grateful news. John is helping me more with the business and is learning all the ins and outs of optimizing websites and social media.

The most impressive news. We love seeing Parker, Taynee and Landon, they live in Provo. Parker has almost made it through his first year at BYU Law school, he is working hard and doing great. Taynee takes care of Landon, and is a talented photographer.

Humanitarian Project

I received this email last week from my nephew Benjamin. Every year around Thanksgiving he and his family go on a humanitarian trip to Mexico. This summer Benjamin will be heading with a group to Peru. What a great experience for him!

I talked with his mom, the response for aerating has been great and Benjamin's aerating schedule has been filled. If you would still like to help him by donating to his humanitarian fundraiser, follow the link and instructions below.

This is Benjamin McMullin. I will be going with Humanitarian Experience For Youth (HEFY) to Peru in July to build a hospital.

I will be Aerating for the next few weeks to raise money. It will be $40 (or more if you have an extremely large lot). Let me know if you would like me to come aerate your lawn.

If you do not live close to me and/or would like to help in a different way, you can donate on the following website with paypal or e-check. HEFY is a 501c3 charitable organization and your donation will be tax deductible. Just follow the link and put "Benjamin McMullin" as the "Name of Fundraiser:" https://hefy.org/index.php/donate-here

Thanks for your help. Benjamin

Thermal cookers are like a big crock pot, cooking food slowly over time. While slow cookers require constant electricity, thermal cooker utilizes heated (boiling) food to complete the cooking process.
